I am a Kale lovin’ web developer, internet marketer and adventurer. I spent many summers living on glaciers in Alaska which has taught me to work well with others and enjoy the natural beauty of the earth. I spend most of my time now pouring through tutorials and case studies for web technologies so I can help others produce good results in their online ventures.

Growing up S.A.D.

I was all about the Standard American Diet (S.A.D.) for most of my life. Nachos, burritos and ice cream were pretty much a daily staple for me. On the outside I seemed to be good for a long time. No matter how much I ate, and I can eat a lot (I have several quantity records), I never gained weight. That was partly because my best friend and I played basketball for a good two to four hours a day along with lifting a lot.

After I finished college I ended up gaining a lot of weight due to the lack of exercise. Instead of eating less, I subconsciously embraced my weight gain and lived uncomfortably for about six years. Along with the weight, I brought on a lot of complications in my health.

Seeing the Light

In March of 2011, I decided to go vegan to see if it could help with some of the health problems. It worked! Within just a few months I was able to lose all the weight and am now much more active again. I’m excited to let others know of the success that I’ve had and help them to achieve it as well.
