I’ve been intrigued by living in smaller spaces lately. One of the big problems with small space is that it is harder to grow a garden. Luckily there are some creative people out there. Brooklyn native, Mike Lieberman (a.k.a. Urban Organic Gardner), has a whole site dedicated to showing us how to create the perfect urban gardens even if the space is limited.
Urban Garden Locations
Here is a great look at some of the ways Mike was able to overcome the limited space in his apartments and grow quite a bit of good food.
Apartment Balcony Garden
Mike explains his balcony garden that uses his self watering containers.
If you have a fire escape you might be able to grow some of your goodies there as well.
The most important thing to remember is that there are always creative solutions to space. Get some more ideas and advice by following the Urban Organic Gardner on Google+, Facebook and Twitter. What creative solutions have you found in your living space?
