Have you ever had a string of bad luck or a had a bad day that just seemed to keep you down for a while? I’ve had many times where I thought the world was against me. Even more times where I was more numb, not happy, not unhappy, just blah. By working on my mental health I was able to get to much better place where the world and I were working together to make my life awesome.
Tips For Becoming Better
It’s important to remember that you are the only person who knows what a better you that you can be. Nobody else knows your passions, your strengths or your dreams like you do. When you are growing and learning, do it for yourself, not for a general “good person” in mind. Below are just a few of the things you can do. 1. Get out of the negative space
Many of us are have negative relationships all around us. You can tell which relationships are negative by the way we feel after our interactions. If you don’t feel happier and lighter afterward, it’s probably a negative or, at least, not a positive relationship. Find new relationships in your interest through Meetup.com, check out your library for local events, and hang out in places that you are interested in.
2. Eat Clean Foods
Eating clean foods will help your body get rid of the toxins that can make you feel poorly. As your body gets healthy, the world around you becomes healthy. The idea here is that the more good you put into your body, the less you’ll be able to fit bad stuff in. The same works all around you.
3. Meditate to Your Optimal You
One of the most powerful things you can do to change your life is to meditate/visualize. Mike Dooley, author of Leveraging the Universe, explains how he visualized himself being happy at work, even though he wasn’t. He didn’t worry about the details just the emotion. Within a couple of weeks he was transferred to a department that he loved, doing work that he loved. This works in all aspects of your life as well.
Do What Works for You
It’s important to find what works for you. You can make big changes in your life relatively quickly by changing your habits and surroundings. You can see the town you live in as a completely different place by changing the way you interact with it. Let your mind soar and see how great you can be.
