3 Ways to Use Your Juice Pulp

By: Joel Turner|April 9, 2012|Posted in: Meal Ideas

I’m a big fan of using all that I can from food. When I juice I like to keep the pulp in the freezer until I use it for some great snacks. After a week long juice fast recently, I had a whole heap of juice pulp in my freezer. Looking around I found a couple of great ways to use it for some great snacks.

Juice Pulp Pancakes with Banana Butter & Almonds

Try using different combinations of your juices to make these pancakes. We’ve played around with beets and carrots to make great tasting sweet pancakes as well.

Raw Juice Pulp Burgers with Carrot Cheese Sauce

Left Over Juice Pulp Dog Treats

Susan explains how she uses her left over juice pulp to create some of healthiest and tastiest dog treats. Not only are these great for your best friend, they’re great for your wallet. If you’re juicing every day or every other day this is a great way to use all that pulp.

It’s important to note that there are some foods that are not good for dogs. You should check out this list of toxic fruits and veggies for dogs to make sure you’re not adding anything that will hurt your pup.
