Venus Williams has been a dominating force in women’s tennis for years. Recently she has been battling an autoimmune disease called Sjogren’s syndrome. This causes her to feel great fatigue and joint pain all over her body.
Venus has turned to eating raw vegan to help her combat the effects of the disease. By eating a high raw vegan diet, she has dramatically lessened the fatigue and pain. She talks a little bit about this and her recent tennis matches in the following video.
