We had the privilege this week to enjoy a pre-screening of Hungry For Change, a new documentary from the creators of Food Matters. We were all really impressed not only with the content, but also the production quality, and the creative way this documentary weaves a fictional character into the information to give us a “story” to follow. It is a great combination of truly solid research from medical doctors and inspiration from people who have bucked with status quo to conquer their diseases, malaise and weight problems.
All of these wonderful new films make it possible to share such a wonderful introduction to a healthier lifestyle in just a matter of hours when otherwise this can take years to compile and impart. Suzanne has been researching on compulsive eating, food addiction and brain chemistry for years, and she was thrilled that everything she has discovered and truly believes was encapsulated so perfectly in Hungry for Change.
We at Kale U are holding a free screening of this film in San Diego on March 24th 2012 so feel free to join our meetup to RSVP if you’re in our area. The film will also be available to watch free online from March 21st to the 31s! Register to secure a spot Here.
This film is exactly why we started Kale University and is an inspiration to continue our work to help encourage and support people to change their lives through a plant-based diet. No matter where people find themselves on the path to healthy living it’s never to late to learn, heal and start to recreate your body, cell by cell, from the ground up.
