In all major cities we see empty lots just sitting there unused. These parcels of land could be amazing urban gardens giving organic produce to the community. We also work hard to keep our lawns green but we are not cows that eat grass. So lets see things differently. Wherever you live there is potential for growing delicious organic food, whether outside your house or indoors, all we need is a container for soil, some seeds and some care. There are several urban garden projects out there but today I want to focus on Ron Finley’s LA Green Grounds. They are all volunteers and they are helping changing the city into an edible garden bringing the community together in their Dig-In planting parties. But let Ron tell you about it.
