If You Eat Processed Food, The Time To Wake Up Is NOW!

By: Ken|January 17, 2012|Posted in: Blog

We live in a time when the over all health and well-being for most of the population here in the U.S. and other countries is at an all time low. This is slowly changing and we see an opportunity to contribute and be of service to those who are trying to reach out and change the direction of their health choices.

The S.A.D. (Standard American Diet) is just what the letters spell.

S.A.D. gives us very little nutrition if any at all and millions are suffering needlessly with life threatening illnesses.

The truth comes down to a basic fundamental law of nature as it appears in our natural world at any given moment. Living Food is rich and full of oxygen and micro-nutrients and is exactly what we need to stay healthy and alive. Processed food is dead and void of oxygen with very little nutrients and is exactly what we need to stay sick and nearly dead.

SAD

This may sound harsh to some,  and it is, but if we don’t wake up as a community in a big way, we will continue to witness more declines in health, especially amongst our friends, family and our-selves.

The bright side is there are solutions and every day people are taking back their power and making the new choices to stay oxygenated, healthy providing  hope so the future generations can “Thrive”

There is a kinder more balanced way to explore out there and many want to be a part of it. Taking your power back is one of the first steps. Wherever you are on your journey is perfect for you and if the path you choose is not satisfying then adjusting direction is always a good way to go.

We like to say at Kale University “Be The Cause” and that can apply to as many areas of your life as you choose. As an example: your health, well-being, fitness, eating habits, educating yourself, and releasing the stresses of every day living.

Find the information that applies to you and Be The Cause of your own destiny, direction or choices. Knowledge can be tremendously liberating and powerful for those who use it. It’s easy to talk the talk but look around at those who are walking the walk and you’ll see the true visionaries.
Besides the plant ( Kale ) the word KALE for us at KALE U. means: Kind, Alive, Learning and Exploring.

Each word can mean a different thing for each of us and yet they have been a guiding principle at KALE U.  They’re based upon the four Founder’s personal meanings of the words as they apply to a whole food plant-based diet and a healthy thriving lifestyle.

What do these words  mean to you with regards to your journey in keeping yourself healthy?

Kind

Alive

Learning

Exploring

We encourage you to share your thoughts and Be The Cause!
